Every love story is special, but ours has been years in the making.We first met as sophomores at the University at Albany, and let’s just say our journey started with some friendly competition—Sam absolutely crushed Mike in a game of beer pong that very first night. From that moment on, our friendship grew, filled with laughter, late-night talks, and maybe a hint of something more.Life brought us even closer when we became roommates during COVID, sharing memories, movie nights, a lot more games of beer pong and way too many inside jokes. For six years, we built a long lasting friendship between two people who just happened to be perfect for each other. Then, in March of 2023, during a visit, we finally admitted what everyone else probably already knew—this was more than friendship. From that moment on, there was no looking back.Now, we share a life filled with love and laughter in Holbrook, New York, and on February 11, 2025, during a dreamy Valentine’s getaway in Punta Cana, Mike got down on one knee under the moonlit sky, with the ocean waves as our witness, and asked Samantha to marry him. Through tears, excitement, and overwhelming joy, she said yes!We are so excited to celebrate this next chapter with all the people we love. Thank you for being part of our story—we can’t wait to share this special day with you!

Hayley has been my best friend since elementary school, when we proudly ran the Avril Lavigne Fan Club in third grade. Over the years, we’ve shared countless memories—jamming to Drake, traveling through Spain, and even surviving bunny hills while skiing. Hayley is one of the funniest and smartest people I know, and no matter how much time passes, we always pick up right where we left off. I’m beyond lucky to have her by my side, today and always.

Kevin and Michael started out hating each other at SUNY Albany, but for reasons still unknown, they became friends. Their bonding included throwing Rools, (IYKYK) weekends at the cabin, warding off Kevin's rodent dogs (which he fully admits they are rodents) and occasionally shooting near each other.

Christina—affectionately known as "Beans"—is my younger sister and lifelong best friend. She’s the life of the party—always ready to dance, laugh, and spread positivity. Over the years, I’ve watched her grow into a caring, fun-loving, and big-hearted person who always makes those around her feel special. I’m so grateful to have her standing with me on my wedding day; her presence will add love, laughter, and unforgettable moments to the celebration.

Mark has been Mike's best friend since 1st grade. Back then, Mike would ride his bike miles through the woods just to hang out because apparently the school bus wasn't fast enough. Years later, Mike followed Mark to SUNY Albany, where they became roommates and continued their lifelong tradition of bonding over the stupidest things imaginable. If there's a dumb joke, random argument, or completely pointless competition, these two are in their element.

Samantha—or Sam—met me during college, and we quickly formed an unbreakable bond. From dorm life in a hotel to making endless inside jokes, she’s been my partner in crime and biggest supporter. Loyal, hilarious, and always ready for a good time, I can’t imagine this day without her by my side, sharing in the joy and making it even more memorable.

Jack is Mike's longest-running friend, dating all the way back to kindergarten though friendship might be a generous word. Jack spent years chasing Mike around with baseball bats and generally torturing him, yet Mike still decided this was a person who he deemed a best friend. Today, their bond looks a little different: guns, trucks, possibly a tank, and an endless supply of idiotic behavior. Some friendships are built on trust, theirs was built on survival.

Lika and I have been through it all since high school. After college, when everyone else left town, we stuck together—drinking wine, watching movies, and laughing non-stop. Her twisted (yet endearing) sense of humor always keeps me on my toes. I’m so lucky to have her by my side on this special day, and I can't wait to create more memories with her!

Skylar and Mike met in college through Kevin, and despite coming from the loudest friend group on earth, the two of them instantly clicked as the quiet ones with actual common sense. Skylar eventually moved to Vermont and no one really understands why, but Mike and Kevin will never let him forget it. Now, both in law enforcement, Mike and Skylar have a low-key but solid friendship built on loyalty, respect, and the kind of quiet humor that says more than any of the loud ones ever could.

Taylor and I bonded over AJR concerts and high school shenanigans—think basketball fails and endless laughs. We even tackled the Bahamas together, where our drink consumption may or may not have gotten out of hand! Despite her professional librarian persona now, she'll always be the fun-loving Taylor I know. I’m so grateful to have her with me today and can’t wait for more adventures ahead!

Mike met Anthony at SUNY Albany and, shocking absolutely no one, Mike didn't like him at first. But, as history shows, all of Mike's people "I didn't like" eventually become his best friends. Anthony ended up being a huge inspiration in Mike's life. He's the founding father of the legendary "Back Air Spike," the guy who taught Mike how to play Super Smash Bros, and the friend who always pushed him to go after what he wants. From video game victories to real-life advice, Anthony has been one of the most encouraging and influential people in Mike's circle.
